This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data when using the MusicHole mobile application.

We only collect the minimum amount of information necessary to deliver and improve our music discovery services:

• Account Information: If you choose to create an account or sign in (via Google Sign-In or Email Authentication), we collect your email address and a unique user identifier to synchronize your saved artists and crate across your devices.
• User Preferences & Discoveries: When you mark artists as heard, save records to your crate, or create anchor boxes, this information is stored locally and optionally synced via Google Firebase Cloud Firestore to your private profile.
• Technical & Diagnostic Data: Anonymized crash logs and basic device characteristics (such as operating system version) to diagnose crashes and maintain app stability.

2. What We DO NOT Collect

• We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information to third parties or data brokers.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites for targeted advertising.
• We do not collect financial, payment, or biometric information.

3. Third-Party Services

MusicHole integrates with trusted third-party service providers solely to enable core functionality:

• Google Firebase (Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore): For secure authentication and encrypted cloud database synchronization of your crate. Privacy Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Streaming Platforms (YouTube Music, Spotify): MusicHole provides deep links allowing you to open artists and tracks in external apps. When you tap a streaming button, you are redirected to the respective platform according to their terms and privacy policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols and stored securely in Google Cloud data centers. We take appropriate technical and organizational precautions to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times:

• Delete Your Account: You can request immediate deletion of your account and all associated data stored in our cloud databases at any time.
• Clear Local Storage: You can clear your cached artists and local databases directly inside the app settings or by uninstalling the application.

6. Children's Privacy

MusicHole is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
